Suite for Viola and Violoncello is a five movement work that gives musical expression to feelings of longing and despair. The first movement is about longing. The second is like a mystic contemplation, while the third and fourth movements are energetic and extroverted. The last movement is a deep suffering, end the work in a mood of despair. The five movements are as follows: 1. Andante con passione 2. Larghetto 3. Presto 4. Allegretto 5.
